Arrive at Delhi by flight. Meet and Greet at Airport, traditional ‘Swagat’ (Welcome), & transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2 – Delhi City Tour

After early Breakfast in hotel, begin city tour of Old  Delhi. The tour of the 17th-century old city includes the great mosque of Jama Masjid, and a walk or cycle rickshaw through the street of Old Delhi.visit  the colourful shopping bazaar known as Chandni Chowk, also the Red Fort (closed on Mondays). These spectacular pieces of Mughal architecture are built by the  Emperor Shah Jahan between 1638 and 1648. Later drive past Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi.

later tour of New Delhi , starting with the drive down the spectacular Rajpath (now known as Kartavya Path) passing the India Gate (the memorial built in memory of the Indian war heroes) ,the President’s House, and the Indian Parliament. Take a brief respite from the otherwise busy city at Birla Mandir, a colourful Hindu temple. Day 3 – Delhi – Mandawa (280 Km / 06 Hrs)

After Breakfast  drive to Mandawa, located  in Shekawati region of Rajasthan. The town of mandawa  is known for its amazing fresco paintings and havelis. So different and architecturally rich are these havelis that the region is often dubbed as the “ art gallery of Rajasthan“. The number of painted Havelis in rich artistic tradition makes them stunning. Most of the havelis are built between 18th century to  20th century. check-in the hotel in Mandawa . Later proceed for sightseeing. The Shekhawati region is dotted with  many havelis & one is intrigued by the fine art adorning the walls and ceilings.

Ahhichatragarh Fort Nagaur Rajasthan
Day 4 – Mandawa – Nagaur – Khimsar (250 Km / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast proceed for Khimsar, en-route stop at Nagaur. The Ahhichatragarh Fort is a mid size fort, built by  Emperors Akbar and Shah Jahan. A well planned Mughal Garden retains its old world charm. The city architecture show distinct Mughal influence. A 5 domed mosque built by Akbar dominates the city landscape. It is best to visit the city during the Ramdeoji Ka mela in February and Tejaji ka mela (fair) in  August respectively. After a brief stopover , we continue  to drive to Khimsar . check-in at Fort Khimsar. A fort perched just on the edge of the Great Thar Desert; In heart of rural India, lies this spectacular fort built in the16th century. The battle-scarred walls & turrets remind of its glorious past. Many years of history unfolds as you walk by at its battle-scarred walls and stroll down its ramparts. As you savour a cup of  tea on the terraces, one absorbs the beauty of being surrounded by acres of lush gardens.

Day 5 – Khimsar – Osian – Jaisalmer (295 Km / 7 Hrs)

After Breakfast , proceed to Jaisalmer and  en-route visit Osian This ancient town of  Thar Desert ,served as a trading centre between 8th to 12th centuries AD. Now a desert oasis with 16 Brahamanical and Jain temples, which are are beautifully sculpted and designed, and most of them have survived the ravages of time. After a brief stop,we continue our journey to Jaisalmer – a town set deep in the heart of Thar Desert, amongst the last princely bastions of the region. Day 6 – Jaisalmer Tour

After breakfast , visit the Jaisalmer Fort, built by Rawal Jaisal in year 1156. It is perched on 80m-high hill and is the only ‘Living Fort’ in India . within this fort, there is an enchanting cow-web of narrow lanes and some lovely Havelis , Palaces. Some spectacular sculptured Jain Temples built between 12th-15th century AD are feast to the eye & don’t  forget the ubiquitous camels. Also visit the beautiful  Patwon Ki Haveli and Gadisagar Lake. Evening drive down 40 km  from Jaisalmer to Sam to enjoy a Camel Ride & be enthralled with the Sand Dunes as  the sun sets down.

Mehrangarh Fort Rajasthan
Day 7 –  Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Rohetgarh (330 Km / 7 Hrs)

After breakfast and check out ,we proceed to Rohetgarh  and en- route visiting JodhpurJodhpur, is the second largest desert city of Rajasthan. Its  landscape is dominated by the great Mehrangarh Fort atop a sheer rocky ridge. The Mehrangarh Fort, is amongst of the most spectacular & formidable structures in India. Day 9 – Rohetgarh – Kumbhalgarh –Deogarh (150 Km / 03 Hrs)

After breakfast and check out proceed to Deogarh en-route visiting Kumbhalgarh, a mammoth 15th century fort, located at 1100 meters  on the Aravali Range,  set amid 7 massive ramparts and surrounded by many temples, built by one of Mewar’s legendary heroes – Rana Kumbha ji. The walls of the Fort are 36 kms long and enclosed are many palaces, temples and gardens.

Continue our journey to Deogarh. A wonderful escapade, to stay in a magnificent palace fortress and experience the royal hospitality. Deogarh lies in the centre of Rajasthan. The chieftain  are known as ‘The Rawat’. They are one of sixteen ‘Umraos’ (feudal barons) favoured  to wait upon the Maharana of Udaipur. The palace stands on a hill , and offers a dominating view of the Aravalli mountain range and the numerous lakes. With its greying fortifications, domes, minarets, ‘jharokhas’ and huge gateways. A delightful sight from the town below. Rawat Dwarka Dasji built it in 1670 A.D as a family residence. Soon it became the hub of village activity. The palace is really an imposing monument, with five floors, and over two hundred rooms, with numerous balconies made of carved pillars with extensive use of marble. Day 10 – Deogarh – Ranakpur – Udaipur (170 Km / 4 Hrs)

After Breakfast proceed  to Lake City ‘Udaipur’. En route take a stop at Ranakpur,  famous for marvellously carved Jain temples in marble, also built in the 15th century AD during the rule of  Rana Kumbha. Udaipur, was established in the year 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh. Udaipur, also called the ‘City of Dreams’ is famous for its beautiful lake Pichola. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Udaipur.

Day 11 – Udaipur Tour

After breakfast , transferred to the City Palace,  the building-moulded in soft yellow stone, the windowless base , crowned with ornate turrets & canopies. A small part of the Palace is now a Museum and its marble & granite walls laden with dazzling miniature paintings , decorated with coloured glass & mirrors. Jagdish Temple, the Indo-Aryan temple, built in 1651 AD by Maharana Jagat Singh. The largest & the most beautiful temple of Udaipur with intricately sculpted images. Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of Maids of Honour) , an ornamental garden with many fountains and pools , is decorated with hand crafted pavilions & elephants.  In the Evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola (subject to water levels). The lakes backdrop is enhanced by the  surrounding hills, Palaces, temples, bathing ghats & embankments. The Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) & Jag Mandir, the two island  Palaces , resemble like pearls in the lake.
