Day 2 – Delhi – Jaipur (262km – 5hr)
After delving into the historical treasures of Delhi, we’ll embark on a journey to Jaipur , the Capital of the state of Rajasthan. the vibrant and colorful city founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1728. Known for its rich heritage and tales of valor, it’s now one of India’s most significant heritage cities. Jaipur is unique in its layout, symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through nine rectangular sectors. Jaipur is also known as the Pink city.

You also have the option to visit Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort nestled 15 km from Jaipur. Here, you can experience the authentic Rajasthani village atmosphere, complete with folk dancers and musicians. After the evening’s festivities, we’ll return to our hotel in Jaipur. Amber Fort Jaipur
Day 3 – Jaipur Tour
The third day of our tour is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Jaipur. We’ll start with a visit to the iconic Amber Fort, a palace complex that began under the reign of Raja Man Singh. We’ll make our way to the Fort on an elephant ride, a truly unforgettable experience. After our visit to the Amber Fort, we’ll proceed to the City Palace, a stunning fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. At the heart of the palace, you’ll find the seven-story Chandra Palace, offering panoramic views of the gardens and the city.
Next, we’ll venture to Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that houses solar devices providing accurate predictions even today. We’ll also pay a visit to Hawa Mahal, a five-story structure made of pink sandstone. Built in 1799, it was designed to allow veiled royal women to observe the bustling marketplace unseen, through its 593 mini windows. At the end of the day, we’ll return to our hotel in Jaipur. Overnight stay in Jaipur (B).
Ranthambore National Park Jaipur
Day 4 – Jaipur – Ranthambore (145km -3hr)
On the fourth day of our tour, we’ll venture into the heart of adventure at the renowned Ranthambore National Park. Bounded by the Banas River to the north and the Chambal River to the south, the park takes its name from the historic Ranthambore fortress that lies within its boundaries. Established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955, it was declared a Project Tiger reserve in 1973 and became a National Park in 1980. Day 4 Jaipur – Ranthambore (145km -3hr) The tiger reserve was expanded in 1991 to include the Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries, bringing the total area to 1334 km. Ranthambore is famed for its robust tiger population and is one of India’s Project Tiger reserves. Other major wild animals inhabiting the park include the leopard, Nilgai, dholes, wild pig, Sambar, chital, and the gaur. The park also boasts a diverse range of trees, plants, birds, and reptiles. In the evening, we’ll embark on a thrilling Jeep safari, with the aim of spotting the elusive tigers. Overnight, we’ll be staying at a wildlife resort in Ranthambore (B, D).
Ranthambore National Park Jaipur
Day 5 – Ranthambore National Park
On the fifth day, continue with our wildlife safari at the Ranthambore National Park. We rise early for a Jeep Safari to the Tiger Reserve, which has regained much of its natural beauty and restored its dry deciduous forest since being one of the original areas under Project. In the later part of the day, we’ll visit the historic Ranthambore Fort, founded in 944 by the Chauhan Rajputs. After the defeat of the Chauhan king Prithviraj III by Muhammad of Ghori in 1192, it became the center of Chauhan resistance to the expanding Sultanate of Delhi. The fort was later passed on to the Mughals under Emperor Akbar in 1559. In the 17th century, it came under the Kachhawa Maharajas of Jaipur and remained part of Jaipur state until Indian Independence. The area surrounding the fortress served as a hunting ground for the Maharajas of Jaipur. Overnight, we’ll return to our wildlife resort in Ranthambore (B, L, D).
Bharatpur National Park
Day 6 – Ranthambore – Bharatpur (255km -05hr)
Early the next morning, we’ll be visiting the Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary, founded by Maharaja Suraj Mal in 1733. Once a well-fortified city and the capital of a kingdom ruled by Jat maharajas, it played a significant role in the Jat history of Rajasthan.
The sanctuary was previously known as the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and is now recognized as Keoladeo National Park. The name ‘Keoladeo’ is derived from the name of an ancient Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva within the sanctuary’s central zone. The Hindi term ‘Ghana’ implies dense, thick areas of forest cover. This park is a magnificent haven, housing one of the world’s greatest and most important heronries. It’s situated at the confluence of the Ghambhir and Banganga Rivers in the Bharatpur district. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, this former duckhunting reserve of the Maharajas is one of the major wintering areas for large numbers of aquatic birds from Afghanistan, Siberia, and Turkmenistan. Over 364 species of birds, including the rare Siberian Crane, have been recorded in the park.
Agra via Fatehpur Sikri
Day 7 – Bharatpur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (55 km – 2 hr)
After breakfast we drive to Agra, en route we stop to go to Fatehpur Sikri (Ghost Capital), the political capital of India’s Mughal Empire underneath Akbar’s reign, from the year 1571 until 1585, whilst it turned into abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. We go to Emperor Akbar’s Residential complex , Mosque & Tomb of Salim Chisti. Later we continue our journey to Agra, to see the Tajmahal, superbly located on the banks of river Yamuna.
